PASTOR
Pastor Lorie Hershey joined WPMF as full-time pastor in August 2007. She can be reached by telephone at 215-729-2050 (office), or by email at lorie@wpmf.org.

ELDERS
The elders are responsible for the well-being of the congregation. This includes:
** being the "visioning" group for WPMF, helping the congregation to set long-term goals and direction for its mission and life;
** overseeing small groups, and helping them form as needed/desired;
** advising the pastor/s in matters concerning pastoral counseling; being available to counsel members and attenders as called upon;
** providing counsel to the pastor regarding preaching and teaching;
** being responsible for church discipline, working preventively and redemptively;
** overseeing the congregation's membership policies and records;
** helping integrate new members and attenders into the life of the congregation;
** intervening when members and/or attenders experience conflict with each other;
** appointing one elder as a delegate to Franconia Conference's yearly assembly

The church council, made up of the pastoral team, Deacons and the Human Resources Committee, meets periodically to discuss issues related to the governance and life of the whole congregation.
